Solar power is on the mind but solar beauty is forever a challenge to capture.

Lemon and golden yellows, burnt oranges, shadows and images from mearly a quick squint at the sun creates lasting images in the mind's eye.

The burst of energy it created between my brush and my pallet was mesmorizing as I created “Solar Flare”.

My goal was to capture the magnificance of the sun as it might appear in an open field in late summer.
